Every year I look to buy a new Christmas album. This year I shopped on iTunes and got my family an album titled “That’s Christmas to me” by Pentatonix. Of all the lovely songs in it, I was once again awestruck by Mark Lowry’s song re-sung by Pentatonix in their glorious a cappella version – Mary, did you know? has become a song that we find ourselves humming all the time now. Amid the hustle and bustle of decorations, parties, shopping and everything “merry and bright,” it’s easy to lose sight of why we celebrate Christmas in the first place. After all, without Jesus, there would be no Christmas.
