If you’re aged between 17-35 and interested in finding out your purpose in life and drawing nearer to God then an excellent first step in Christian missions is a YWAM DTS (Discipleship Training School). Join other young people who are on fire for Jesus in taking the next step in their life.
The fall 2012 YWAM Bangalore DTS is a 6 month live-in school which begins October 1st.
The first part is the lecture phase where you will hear and learn from experienced and qualified teachers on topics such as:
- Bible foundations for your life
- Character of God is like and to know Him
- Hearing God’s voice, to pray, and to obey Him
- Spiritual Gifts and calling
- How to reach out to others who do not know Him
- How to share your testimony and faith with others
- How you can help influence different areas of society
- Pioneering and teamwork
This is followed by an outreach phase. This is a chance to apply what you have learned, help others in various ways and bring true hope and healing to them. Outreaches can be in Karnataka, other states in India and/or other nations. DTS costs are $950 for “A” nations, $600 for “B” nations, and Rs 19,250 for those from India and other “C” nations.
